Frequently asked questions

1. How can I register as an exhibitor at TICA Trends & Trade?

You can apply by filling in the online application form on our website. We will then contact you as soon as possible. If we consider you a valuable addition, we will invite you for a personal interview at one of our locations. During this meeting, we will get acquainted, discuss the conditions and take a tour of the facility together. About a month after agreeing on the contract, entering the dates and preparing your new shop-in-shop, you can start working for us.

2. What type of customer purchases from TICA?

Every year, we welcome tens of thousands of (international) TICA members with a business purchasing objective to our branches. The huge range is therefore tailored to professional resellers and end users in the home, gift, garden, fashion and lifestyle sectors. With more than 300 leading brands presenting their collections in shop-in-shops, TICA members are guaranteed to find unique items here for their shop, webshop assortment or styling job. To ensure the quality of our visitors, we operate an admission policy.

3. Which branches are there?

TICA has three branches. A cash & carry in Aalsmeer, in Venlo and a Concept Store in Venlo. Read more about the branches here.

4. What does TICA do to relieve exhibitors?

Every new exhibitor should purchase the stand service from TICA. Stand service is provided by the experienced House Your Brands team. Every day, they ensure that your stand looks nice and clean, products are replenished and articles are priced. It is also possible – on request – to engage the Visual Merchandise team. From a commercial point of view, they will look at the layout, presentation and atmosphere of the stand. They clearly map out all areas for improvement. With the right optimisations, the buying behaviour of a TICA member can be positively influenced.

5. Do I need to have a partnership or private limited company to sell at TICA??

No, it is not an obligation. Both sole traders and companies are welcome, as long as they have a valid Chamber of Commerce number.

6. Are there restrictions on the number of products I have to sell?

No, there is no set number of products you have to sell. Any exhibitor is welcome, regardless of the range, as long as we believe the product is interesting and adds value to the professional buyers at TICA.

7. Does TICA also promote (new) exhibitors?

Each new exhibitor will be asked to supply images and information. This is used to create a specific brand page. Subsequently, the new brand is highlighted on social media, among others. Should an exhibitor want more exposure afterwards (or during a specific period), the marketing menu can be requested via communicatie@tica.nl.
