Guided tour for students

TICA warmly welcomes students for a tour of one of our cash & carry’s. During this tour, students studying in the field of commerce, retail, logistics, fashion, interior styling or as florists receive information about everything that is involved at TICA. A visit to one of our TICA branches is not only instructive and inspiring, it is also a first introduction to a wholesale business that may be relevant to students within this field in the future.

The B2B wholesaler

TICA is Europe’s largest wholesaler of home, gift, garden, fashion and lifestyle products. With over 300 leading brands presenting their collections in shop-in-shops, TICA members are guaranteed to find unique items for their shop, business or styling job. In addition, as an entrepreneur with TICA, you benefit from many advantages in terms of purchasing, stock management and margins.

Program

A visit to TICA lasts approximately one hour. Students are received at the entrance and welcomed in the presentation room, where they will be given a brief introduction to TICA through a presentation. They will then go out onto the floor and begin the tour of the more than 20,000 m2 facility and its logistics department. During the tour, there will be ample opportunity to ask questions.

House rules

There are of course a number of house rules at TICA, which are good to know before visiting:

+ At the entrance, students receive a button with “student”. We do this because we normally have a strict admission policy and want to create clarity towards our TICA members.

+ Students are not allowed to make purchases.

+ Students are free to take pictures as long as no prizes are visible.

Collaboration

We are only too happy to show students (and possible future TICA members!) around cash & carry. Good to know is that a school visit is a barter deal. This means that the training institute generates attention to TICA via social media during or after the visit. We ask the following for this:

+ 2 x a social post or story (referring to @TICA _trendstrade) during or after the visit.

+ A short news item on your website and/or newsletter in which reference is also made to TICA.nl.
