Upcycling clothes

Madelon Hendrix passionately creates vintage designer clothes, both by hand and behind the sewing machine. Her journey began while studying International Fashion Design, where she launched her own brand MADRIX by upcycling clothes in 2023. Making her own coats is something she had wanted to do for some time as she already noticed that she had most of them herself, in various colours, designs and patterns.

During her part-time job in care for the disabled, with a Caregiver-IG degree and her fashion design training, she noticed that the wheelchair coats in her residential group could use some modernisation and personality. On instagram, she grew quickly in a short time, making videos on how an item is made to match the lyrics of the music. Since she makes a lot of streetwear, (old school) hip-hop songs cannot be missed. This way, she reaches diverse audiences and always manages to create something loved by everyone.
