How did the Corios brand come into being?

After many years of experience in the decoration business, we, Maartje and Ton, started two different companies: “Natural Collections” and “Banner & Co” which has now been around for 20 years. Over the years, the offer changed and the name was changed to “Corios” in 2012. Corios specialises in seasonal decorative items. We start the year with Easter, followed by a spring, summer and autumn collection. From mid-year onwards, we plunge into the Advent and Christmas themes. Because we move with the seasons, we have a varying range that surprises TICA members every time they visit. We also have a standard range with metal frames, artificial branches, wooden trays and tapas boards.

How long have you been selling at TICA?

Is 2004 we came into contact with the TICA Venlo branch. At the time, it was still located in an old vegetable auction in Venlo. From 2020, we are also available at TICA Aalsmeer.

Can you describe Corios’ target group?

When we started, we mainly focused on florists. Now our customer base has grown into a broad target group including; stylists, workshoppers, catering decorators and retailers.

What can TICA members expect from Corios during the Look, Feel & Buying Days?

During the Look, Feel & Buying Days, we will give as much as 20% discount on the entire Corios collection! This is to celebrate our 20th anniversary! In addition, our beautiful Christmas decorations can be found in the centre aisle of TICA Venlo and at the cash desks at TICA Aalsmeer.

Can you tell us more about Corios’ new (Christmas) range?

This year, we are going all out with the Christmas range! The range consists of various Christmas wreaths, garlands of all kinds, Christmas branches, LED candles, Christmas lights, and lots of small decoration items. There are also more types of metal frames, e.g. star-shaped. The artificial greenery collection is also extensive and we have “honeycombs” in various colours and sizes.
