+ Select a colour scheme
This winter’s colour trend consists of burgundy, ocean blue and moss green. You can reflect these colours in table decorations if that suits your company. Because they are basic colours, you can combine them with ease, think glitter or gold.
+ Use a table runner
Buying tablecloths that you only use for the holidays is a waste. Make tables festive with a runner. This is a relatively small investment, but makes a big difference to the atmosphere. The runner also adds depth.
+ Choose an eye-catcher
The table does not need much decoration if there is a good eye-catcher. By using a Christmas arrangement, a pretty vase with seasonal flowers, festive candles or fun Christmas balls, you immediately dress up the table.
+ Use ambient light
A restaurant or café is not complete without mood lighting. To create atmosphere, place candles or tea lights in cute tealight holders on the table for a warm glow. If you think candles are too dangerous, you can also place garlands of light to create a magical atmosphere.
+ Add Christmas greens
To bring nature back into the table, you can put down natural Christmas decorations. For example, place pine cones, pine branches or garlands on the table. Again, this can be nicely combined with a garland of lights.
