Sunny Roeffen recently joined the TICA Sales team. As Sales Coordinator at TICA Venlo, he primarily focuses on the exhibitors at this location. Outside of work, he is also very active—whether it’s playing football and padel or hiking in the Alps, Sunny loves a challenge. We spoke with him about his first weeks at TICA and goals for the future.

The focus is now on the two newest TICA locations: Brussels and Ede. Brussels is a prime location with great potential, where we are currently working on a new layout and an atrium to transform it into a true TICA location. There are already more than 120 brands, and many more exciting exhibitors will be joining soon. What I also find exciting is the development of TICA Ede as a one-stop shop for entrepreneurs looking to quickly and easily stock up on essentials. There is plenty of space to work with seasonal themes and bestsellers. Our goal is to make Ede the top location for trends and Ede-specials, continuously surprising TICA members with new and unique products. I see significant growth opportunities in both locations, and I’m excited to continue building with the team!
My sister works at the reception desk at TICA Venlo and always came home with enthusiastic stories. When the Sales Coordinator position at TICA Venlo became available, she tipped me off. From day one, my experience has been very positive—I was well introduced to everything, quickly got to know many colleagues, and immediately felt part of the team. Together with the Sales team, I support exhibitors in making the most of their space and ensuring smooth operations. I also guide new exhibitors and am always looking for opportunities within TICA. What I enjoy most about my role is the freedom to think along within TICA’s entrepreneurial character. My goal? To ensure that everyone is satisfied—both exhibitors and colleagues!
I knew it was going to be a big fair, but once inside, I was truly impressed. The halls are enormous, and the exhibitors have set up stunning booths. What stood out most to me were the impressive stands from brands like PMP Furniture, Zuiver, and J-Line. It was an inspiring event and, at the same time, a great opportunity to get to know colleagues from Aalsmeer better. All in all, a valuable experience!
