5 tips for stylishly furnishing a wall cabinet

It always looks beautiful on Pinterest; a compartment cabinet or wall shelf with just enough matching accessories. You want that too! After all, presenting trendy decoration at eye level contributes to extra store sales. How do you handle this? Too much stuff becomes messy, too little it just isn’t. 1. Colors
Of course you want the accessories in your wall cabinet or on your wall shelf to stand out, but at the same time to match the rest of the interior. This creates unity and that ensures peace. Pay particular attention to the use of color. Go for two or three basic colors (from the rest of your interior), which you keep coming back to. Combine this with accent colors to make the final styling just a bit more powerful.
Extra fun! Create a real eye-catcher by covering one or more rear walls of the cabinet with wallpaper. Have you used wallpaper anywhere else in space? Then let this same wallpaper come back. 2. Personal Items

3. Mix & match

4. Cluster & group
Placing all decoration straight forward is not really original. Keep it playful! In one corner you put a few more items together and in the next compartment you go for more space and tranquility and only place a nice table book or large vase. Then look at your closet from a distance; this way you can see which accessories are too busy or which are better placed elsewhere.
5. Get rid of clutter!
Do you really want to use the cupboard to store your ‘knick-knacks’? Then buy a matching basket that fits exactly in one of the bottom openings. Get rid of clutter and it also looks nice!
