Wax Design was founded in 1996 as a small candle-making workshop in the heart of Barcelona. Rachel Torrecillas, founder and creative manager, was inspired by a journey across Europe, where she discovered the latest home decor trends. She decided to blend these modern styles with a Mediterranean touch, which soon became the essence of Wax Design. Rachel’s passion for interior design and fragrance led to a creative venture centered around handmade candles and home accessories.

What started as a modest scented candle workshop has now grown into an internationally beloved brand. Today, Wax Design offers unique home concepts worldwide, all with a warm Mediterranean feel. The candles are crafted with care, using high-quality plant-based waxes and local fragrances. Wax Design’s vases are also sustainably produced, often made from recycled materials, and can be used multifunctionally as planters or decorative elements.
