Milan Design Week naturally revolves around the prominent furniture fair Salone del Mobile, which returns as always with an innovative layout for an immersive fair experience. Here you will find the latest trends and innovations in furniture and interior design. Whether you are attending the Salone del Mobile for the first time or returning as a seasoned visitor; this fair with an extensive showcase is a must-see.
Tip: set off well prepared, so you know which halls and exhibitors are of interest to you. The fair is too big to see everything in one day.

Time to hit the town! Fuorisalone includes a series of events, exhibitions and workshops that showcase contemporary design in the city’s vibrant neighbourhoods. Located opposite the cathedral, Masterly offers a comprehensive showcase of Dutch design. Curated by Nicole Uniquole, this exhibition showcases over a hundred Dutch designers and companies from different fields such as architecture, furniture, textiles, construction and accessories. They present a wide range of relevant and compelling works, highlighting the innovation and creativity of Dutch design.

Above all, put Alcova on your list too! Set in an industrial environment, this iconic building - a former slaughterhouse - provides a unique setting for more than 100 designers during Milan Design Week. This dynamic space brings together institutes, established brands, design studios and emerging talent. Alcova can be easily reached by train (lines S2 & S4).

Seletti is an extraordinary Italian brand characterised by a unique vision of design and innovation. Since its founding in 1964 by Romano and Maria Seletti, the company has strived to improve products, innovate and make a difference. Seletti likes to be a maverick in the design world and is therefore definitely worth a visit.

A visit to Rossana Orlandi's gallery is a must during Milan Design Week! Rossana is known in the design world for her keen eye for talent and beauty. Located in a building with a beautiful garden, her gallery offers a special journey through rooms full of unique and exquisite treasures, making it an essential destination for design lovers.

After your delicious breakfast at God save the food, you will be at Ex.t's showroom in no time (on the same street!), where you will discover completely innovative and trendsetting bathroom concepts. Believe us, when you stand in front of the shop window, you would prefer to order the whole menu. You can start your day with good coffee and a fantastic breakfast. But this is also the right place for dinner or an aperitivo. Each location (there are 3!) has its own unique atmosphere and charm. We recommend having breakfast at the Tortona branch. End your day on the large terrace in Brera, if you're lucky you'll be sitting in the sunshine in the idyllic Piazza del Carmine.
