In 2017, we (Thomas and Mischa) started Housevitamin. We believe that hip interior design should be accessible and affordable. The name literally means ‘vitamins for your home’. With Housevitamin, we stand for fun and hip basics that always fit as well as original, bold and contemporary design. We don’t do trends, we do bestsellers.
Our collection is characterised by the frequent use of black and white with a ‘sparkle’ of gold. The collections range from fine basics that always fit into any interior to bold and contemporary designs that put a smile on your face. Housevitamin is more daring than the average interior design brand and understands better than anyone what consumers want. As a brand, we see a difference in what the retailer buys and what the consumer actually wants. Some items in our collections give consumers the feeling of “I must have this!”, whereas retailers sometimes do not dare to do so.
The collections are full of eye-catchers and items that will make you smile, like the meerkats and the dachshunds. One of our favourite collections is the ‘Home de Cologne’ line. This is a wonderfully fragrant and chic collection. One of the most talked about collections this year is the ‘Your Body Your Choice’ collection. The bum candelabras, for example; these caused quite a bit of discussion. Exactly what was intended!
The Christmas shopping season is once again upon us and then ‘The Crazy Christmas Collection’ cannot be missed. This collection is full of original eye-catchers but also classics. A large part of the collection consists of the colours black, white and gold. There are also various bright and cheerful Christmas ornaments that are totally popular right now. Of course, animal ornaments cannot be missing. You will find meerkats and dachshunds on the Christmas tree. And to complete the circle, you will also find the ‘Your Body Your Choice’ collection as Christmas ornaments in The Crazy Christmas Collection.
