A visit to TICA should inspire, from the first impression upon entry to the last stand a member visits. Every day, we welcome thousands of entrepreneurs, retailers, interior professionals, stylists, and hospitality entrepreneurs looking for new products, trends, and ideas for their own customers.
With locations in the Netherlands and Belgium, TICA has grown into one of Europe’s largest purchasing platforms for home, gift, garden, fashion, and lifestyle. This scale brings opportunities but also requires a consistent and distinctive shopping experience.
That is why we are looking for a Visual Merchandising Manager: a VM specialist with creative insight and strong execution skills. You translate TICA’s brand guidelines into an inspiring shop floor and ensure every location continues to surprise with new trends, seasonal styling, and presentations.
This is a new role within TICA. You will build the position from the ground up and establish the common thread in visual merchandising across all locations.
You are responsible for visual merchandising across all locations. Within TICA’s brand guidelines, you determine how we enhance inspiration on the shop floor. You work on two levels: the floor as a whole and the quality of the stands. Some exhibitors opt for full service, where TICA also handles the VM of their stand. Most exhibitors set up their own stands. For them, you set the framework and provide feedback and improvement plans to take their stands to the next level.
In short: you ensure that TICA not only looks good but also performs better.

You combine creativity with the power to execute. You have an eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. You get people on board by inspiring them, not through hierarchy.
In addition, you have:
You report to the Director of Retail & Experience and work from our Aalsmeer location. You will regularly be found at all our locations. You will work closely with the Category Manager, also a new role, who is responsible for the assortment strategy while you determine how it looks on the floor. Additionally, you will collaborate frequently with Store Managers, Sales, and Marketing. The brand guidelines themselves are set centrally; you translate them to the floor.
