Where will you be working?

At TICA, the leading European purchasing partner for interior and lifestyle professionals. Our checkout and reception teams are the first and last touchpoints for our members. A great first impression and a smooth departure are therefore crucial – and you play a key role in that.

You lead the Checkout & Reception team and work closely with other teams on-site as well as with colleagues from our other TICA locations. You maintain an overview, make adjustments where necessary, and ensure that processes run efficiently, professionally, and consistently. You also assist at the checkout during peak times.

What Will You Do?

As Team Leader Checkout and Reception, you are responsible for both the daily operations and the further development of the team and processes. Your duties include:

  • Managing the checkout and reception team on a daily basis
  • Coaching and guiding employees, focusing on ownership, collaboration, and development
  • Assisting at the checkout during peak times
  • Ensuring optimal staffing, planning, and task distribution
  • Monitoring quality, progress, and KPIs
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and improving work processes with a focus on efficiency and productivity
  • Working with and managing customer data in the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • Utilizing data, systems, and AI solutions, such as Microsoft Copilot, to organize work processes more efficiently and intelligently
  • Acting as the point of contact for more complex questions from our members
  • Collaborating intensively with other teams on-site and with other TICA locations
  • Reporting to your manager and contributing ideas for organization-wide improvements
  • Emergency Response Officer (BHV) certification is mandatory for this position

Who are You?

You are an experienced leader who provides direction and knows how to get people on board with changes. Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following:

  • You take responsibility and have strong problem-solving skills
  • You are proactive and think ahead
  • You have knowledge of AI and preferably experience with Microsoft Copilot
  • You are familiar with working in a CRM system (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus)
  • You communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • You stay calm under pressure and are good at prioritizing
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages
  • You are flexible and willing to work an average of three weekend days per month
