RIVSALT is the creative result of Swedish designer Jens Sandringer. During a dinner at a Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant in Beijing, he watched a chef grating salt from a block – and was instantly inspired. He wanted to recreate that experience at home. Since such a product didn’t exist yet, he started designing it himself. The result? The first sketches of RIVSALT were quickly born.
