We’ll be celebrating the grand opening together on February 2nd. At the same time, there’s still plenty of construction, furnishing, and fine-tuning happening behind the scenes. That’s all part of it.

01 - The structural work is in full swing
The structural work is in full swing and forms the foundation of our new location. Inside, walls are being placed, installations are being installed and the layout is taking shape. This phase is essential to have a solid foundation for all subsequent steps.
It is a technical process in which precision is central: from the placement of structural elements to the preparation of pipes and connections. Every day we get closer to a space that is ready for finishing and furnishing.

First impressions count – and it’s here! The signage has been placed and immediately gives the iconic flower auction building the recognizable TICA look & feel. An important step towards the festive opening on February 2nd.

03 – The catering area is ready
The tastemakers of TICA Projects Venlo are all set. The catering area is stylish, welcoming, and practically furnished. Here, members will soon be able to take a break, get inspired, and enjoy a good cup of coffee or a tasty lunch in between shopping.
The catering facilities form an important part of the overall experience. It is not only a place to relax, but also to exchange ideas and forge new collaborations. Everything has been finished in detail, so that it seamlessly connects with the opening on February 2nd. While the rest of the location is still in motion, this part is already completely ready to receive members.
It’s really starting to take shape: the first furniture brands have started building their stands. The space is slowly filling with stylish items that will soon form the heart of TICA Projects Venlo. Think of luxurious sofas, characterful tables and unique cabinets, all ready to take your project design to the next level.
This phase is always special: from an empty floor to an inspiring showroom where you can soon mix and match between brands and materials. Each brand brings its own style, making the diversity and creativity palpable.

Not only are the major furniture brands busy, but the smaller products are also bringing their own character to TICA Projects Venlo. The first stands with accessories, books and decorations have been set up and immediately give the showroom more atmosphere and detail. These brands provide the finishing touch that makes each project unique.
From stylish books to surprising decorative items: the range grows every day. Together with the major brands, these details will soon form an inspiring overall experience for project designers and hospitality professionals.
The Lifestyle collection is now in place. The stands clearly show how you can easily put together larger projects with their furniture and decoration. With this structure, you can furnish various spaces, from hospitality to office.
For entrepreneurs who want to complete the (final) styling of their project, a visit to TICA Venlo is the perfect addition. Brands like Raw Materials are adding wooden chairs, tables, and side furniture suitable for daily use. In the coming weeks, more brands focusing on projects with outdoor collections will follow, so that project designers will soon be able to put together both their interior and exterior in one visit.

The last few weeks have been all about fine-tuning, because Monday, February 2nd, is fast approaching. The stands are almost all filled and the showroom is starting to look the way we want to show it to the first visitors.
The catering area is also completely ready for use. Everything is organized, tested, and neatly furnished. Members will soon be able to take a break here, get to know each other, exchange ideas, or just catch their breath between purchases.
Meanwhile, new brands continue to join. Although construction is still underway behind the scenes, there is already a branch that shows what project designers, hospitality entrepreneurs, and interior professionals can expect: a large, inspiring, and complete range in one place.

Last week, we celebrated the official opening together with over 250 visitors – a special milestone after weeks of building, refining, and fine-tuning. The showroom is filled, the brands are ready, and the first orders have already been placed.
The reactions were enthusiastic: inspiring, well-organized, and exactly what project designers, hospitality entrepreneurs, and interior professionals need to switch gears faster.
Behind the scenes, a lot is still happening. New brands are joining, collections are being expanded, and the showroom continues to evolve. Although there is always room for growth, there is now a location that shows what TICA Projects Venlo is: an inspiring, enterprising place where you can easily work from idea to execution.

13 - Opening press release
TICA Projects Venlo is open! Located in the iconic flower auction building, it’s a place where you, as a professional, can quickly put together complete projects. Director Rogier Uivel mentioned that this new location “is an important step to support professionals even better in quickly and purposefully assembling projects.”
The first brands were also immediately ready. With stands from, among others, Zuiver, Pole to Pole, and Dutch Sofa Company, the showroom came to life from day one. And while visitors walked around, new zones and inspiration corners were being built behind the scenes. Every time you come, you discover something new.
