You may have noticed some changes in the logistics area of TICA Venlo. We would like to inform you about these adjustments and apologize for any inconvenience you may experience. This reorganization is part of a broader project aimed at complying with current occupational health and safety regulations while creating more safety and efficiency in our daily operations.
We have started relocating and adapting departments and implementing safety paths, including the upcoming relocation of the reservation department from TICA Concept Store to Florazon. The previous choice of location in the Concept Store did not have the desired effect in practice, so we are now choosing a location that better aligns with the logistical processes.
As in Aalsmeer, we will also create a logistics reception in Venlo. This reception will be the primary point of contact for all your logistics questions and will ensure increased supervision and control of incoming and outgoing goods flows. We will also implement an access control policy in Venlo, similar to Aalsmeer. The logistics area will then only be accessible from the outside through the pedestrian door using an exhibitor pass or door pass. The doors for unloading goods will only operate with a special door pass. This way, we maintain control over who brings in goods and who leaves the building. This approach also allows us to conduct more targeted bag and goods inspections upon departure. In the near future, TICA’s logistics house rules and registration rules will also apply in Venlo, the same as in Aalsmeer. These rules ensure clarity and uniform procedures at all our locations, and we will share them with you very soon.
