In summer, we already asked our Creative Director Pierre about the plans for TICA Brussels. Now that the makeover is complete, we spoke with him again. The Atrium has been completely renovated, the shop-in-shops have been refreshed, and shopping is now much more organized. TICA Brussels is ‘ready to inspire’! What does Pierre think about it?

The Last Time We Spoke, TICA Brussels Was in Full Development. Now that Part one of the Makeover is Complete, how Would You Describe the End Result?

You notice it immediately: this is truly becoming a TICA location! The entrance of the Trademart building in Brussels has undergone a major transformation. The renovated main entrance and clear routing make the entrance feel much more accessible. At the main entrance, you’ll now find an inspiring styling point where we showcase changing TICA themes using brand products. As soon as you step in, inspiration is everywhere — your purchasing adventure begins immediately!

When you then walk into the TICA location, we have created an inspiring Atrium by removing walls, which creates an open and inspiring atmosphere. On this square, we showcase new must-have items that you can quickly grab before heading to the checkout. The improved sightlines provide peace and overview, allowing members to purchase more efficiently and pleasantly.

What Real Differences are TICA Members Noticing from this Makeover?

The difference is noticeable as soon as you enter. The route is clear and logical, making it effortless to find your way. Everything is freshly painted, well-organized, and clearly presented. You can see what you need at a glance – that brings peace of mind. And exactly that makes purchasing not only easier but much more enjoyable.

 

Which Elements of the Renovation are You most Proud of and why?

Actually, everything! Where it previously looked somewhat chaotic, it now looks sleek and atmospheric. Our teams have worked incredibly hard: stands have been emptied, reorganized, and made completely TICA-proof. And thanks to the Sales team, we now also have many new, inspiring brands.

And Now, is TICA Brussels 'Finished'?

TICA is never really finished. We continuously optimize and always look for innovative ways to make it even more attractive, easier, and more inspiring for our members. Soon we’ll start phase 2 of the optimization at TICA Brussels. We’re designing the remaining spaces to perfectly align with our members’ needs. Meanwhile, we’re working hard on a strategic plan towards 2030, developing all TICA locations into a contemporary, on-point B2B marketplace – always up-to-date, surprising, and relevant.
