It is with great sadness that we share the news that our colleague Ruud Kleeven passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, after a period of illness.
Ruud was one of the pioneers at TICA Venlo (then known as Trends Trade) and started as the third employee in our organization. Many of you will remember Ruud as the familiar face of our reception team, where he enthusiastically welcomed our TICA members as a host for many years. This role suited him perfectly and was characterized by his warmth and professionalism. In recent years, Ruud fulfilled the role of Team Leader of Team Welcome, where he assisted members by phone and digitally with the same dedication and friendliness.
His loss leaves a great void, not only in the workplace but also with everyone who had the privilege of working with him or knowing him personally. Our thoughts are with his partner Geert, family, and other loved ones. As a team, we are here to support them during this difficult time. We understand that this news may be distressing.
