In Memoriam Ruud Kleeven

Dear Exhibitors,

It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our colleague Ruud Kleeven on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, after a period of illness.

Ruud was one of the pioneers at TICA Venlo (formerly Trends & Trade) and started as the third employee in our organization. Many of you will recognize Ruud as the familiar face of our reception team, where he warmly welcomed our TICA members as a host for many years. This role suited him perfectly and was characterized by his warmth and professionalism. In recent years, Ruud served as Team Leader of the Welcome Team, where he assisted members both by phone and digitally with the same dedication and kindness.

His passing leaves a great void, not only in the workplace but also among all those who had the privilege of working with him or knowing him personally. Our thoughts are with his partner Geert, his family, and other loved ones. As a team, we stand ready to support them in this difficult time. We understand that this news may be deeply moving.
