New logistics entrance at TICA Aalsmeer

Dear exhibitor,

As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure a safe and efficient working environment, we will be opening a new logistics entrance at TICA Aalsmeer as of November 18, 2024. This change follows a recent inspection by the Occupational Health and Safety Service, which identified important safety improvement points.

New logistics entrance at TICA Aalsmeer
The new entrance is located by the sliding doors next to the current entryway. We kindly ask everyone to use this entrance when entering the logistics area. Are you bringing goods on a pallet? Ask the receptionist to open the roller door or provide you with an access card.

Benefits of this change:

  • Staff in the logistics area no longer need to stay at the reception desk, enabling them to better assist you.
  • The reception is now staffed Monday through Friday, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, to assist with all logistics inquiries. Outside these hours, the function will be combined with that of the logistics team, as you are accustomed to.
  • The new entrance allows better separation of pedestrian and vehicle traffic and provides pedestrians with direct access to a safe walking area.
    For your information, we will soon share the new logistics house rules with you.
  • A stricter access and exit control will be implemented, allowing for better oversight of your goods.

What’s next?
In addition to the new logistics entrance, more changes will take place in the coming period. For example, last week the exhibitors’ unpacking location was already relocated. In the coming weeks, the following departments will also be moved:

  • Returns/dispatch
  • Transport and reservations

Feedback? We’d love to hear it!
We are running a trial period until January 1, 2025, to evaluate the recent changes in the logistics area and appreciate your understanding. A poster with a QR code will soon be placed at the new logistics entrance so you can fill in a feedback form.
The project for safety and efficiency will continue through February 2025 and will involve a few further necessary adjustments. Our goal is to create an efficient and safe logistics space for both colleagues and exhibitors.
